Last month I headed over to Dunelm with one goal in mind – to get some new items for my dining table. You may remember from blog posts over the last few years that I had the same spotty table-cloth seemingly forever, and then since I threw it away, just bare wood. It’s definitely time for a change.
I’ve known and loved Dunelm for a long time, being a Midlands company and me being a Midlands girl, it’s somewhere I’ve always visited before Christmas for gift shopping and every time I’ve moved house. They have stores all over the country now, packed with home wares, and importantly for me, a big new one in Bristol! So when they asked me if I’d like to go and do a shop there, of course I jumped at the chance.
Dunelm have such a great range and I always find myself in the dining aisles looking at plates, wine glasses, tea and coffee jars and the like. On this shopping trip I picked up some great Jamie Oliver items. Plates from his ‘Ridges’ range (cream with subtle raised rings), and matching striped blue table-cloth and napkins. I’m really pleased with how they look, quite rustic but modern at the same time.
Luckily I was there during the sale and managed to pick up all of this for just over £100:
– Cole & Mason salt and pepper pots
– x4 ‘ridges’ Jamie Oliver plates
– x4 Jamie Oliver napkins
– Jamie Oliver table-cloth
– Onion Saver (those things are genius!)
– x4 jute place mats
– 4 pinch pots (perfect for dipping sauces)
– Set of serving spoons
– 2 tea towels
– Knife, Fork & Spoon set for four people (matt finish, perfect for blog photography!)
– Picnic cool bag!
